Building the Hydrogen Economy – Enabling Infrastructure Development

Last week I had blogged about the Building the Hydrogen Economy workshop in Detroit on April 2 – 4 and now I have a few more details about this event. The workshop is being held jointly by the International Partnership for the Hydrogen Economy (IPHE) and the International Energy Agency (IEA) and features many notable industry insiders.

Hydrogen insiders from Canada, Iceland, Germany, Israel, Brazil and Mexico will convene to discuss the necessary elements for building a hydrogen infrastructure and economy in the various countries. Even Larry Burns, Vice President for General Motors Research, Development and Planning will drop-in and give a 20-minute speech.

Discussed will be stationary and mobile fuel cells, fueling stations, hydrogen production, delivery systems and financial opportunities within the developing hydrogen market.
