Honda FCV Concept Makes European Debut at Geneva Auto Show

While Honda has been showing off its FCV Concept for the past couple of years, this is the first time the hydrogen vehicle has shown itself in Europe via the Geneva Auto Show.

Scheduled to be rolled out for public consumption in March 2016, the first production vehicles will hit the showrooms of Japan followed by those in the U. S.

The Honda FCV Concept is said to be close to the same vehicle as the yet to be named production auto. The Concept is a 5-seater with a 300 – 400 mile range, refuels in 3 minutes at 10,000 psi.

The FCV Concept contains a fuel cell stack that is 33-percent smaller than that in the 2008 Honda Clarity. The newest iteration of fuel cell stack is also 60-percent more powerful.

The FCV Concept, has made several debuts with the last one being in Detroit this past January 2015. Now Europeans will get a taste of this deliciously styled auto with all the clean high tech to satisfy most hydrogen auto lovers.
